Ronit Baranga (b. 1973, Israel) lives and works in Israel. As a sculptor and installation artist, she creates figurative work on the border between living and still life, dealing with emotional states and relationships.
Ordinary objects from daily life — cups, plates, cakes, dolls — receive fragments of the human body. The result is a playful, unpredictable mix that holds identity, control, and consumption in a form that is both attractive and disturbing.
Her work has been shown in museums and galleries worldwide, including Banksy’s Dismaland, Fondation Bernardaud, Yingge Ceramics Museum, Eretz Israel Museum, Haifa Museum of Art, and Arter in Istanbul. It is held in museum and private collections in Israel, Taiwan, China, Slovenia, the United States, Turkey, and Europe.
Baranga holds a B.A. in Psychology and Literature from Haifa University, studied Art History at Tel Aviv University, and Fine Arts at Beit Berl College (HaMidrasha).
